"Type 2" The Van Collection

$38.00

  • Small batch hand dyed yarn
  • Superwash Merino/Nylon (80/20)
  • 115g/420 yards

The Van Collection has been a 9 month long passion project. Without your help, we wouldn't be at this point. When I put out a call for the community to share 'Wild Vans' I was blown away by the response. We received hundreds of messages and tags of Vans. It was truly amazing to see the community coming together - your support really did help us through a challenging time.

Working with Gabi again, has been a dream. I got to hand deliver the yarn for the collaboration when we visited Brooklyn this past December. She took them and turned them into something so perfect and surprised us all by designing the Van Sweater (Mini) with sizes beginning at Premmie and going all the way up to 6.

$2 from every skein sold will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities and Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto for the amazing care they provided for Van.

From Gabi:

Van:

The Van Sweater is a wardrobe staple with classic, vintage vibes. Designed with about 5-6” of positive ease and extended ribbing at the bottom and cuffs, it’s knit flat, then seamed with stitches picked up to create a folded neckband and the sleeves.

Van Mini:

The Van Mini brings the Van Sweater to sizes Preemie through 6 years. A wardrobe staple with classic, vintage vibes, it’s knit flat, then seamed with stitches picked up to create a folded neckband and the sleeves. Button detailing has been added at the shoulder to accommodate those big baby noggins.

It is always preferred that you hand wash your knits in lukewarm water with wool wash and lay flat to dry.

These are hand dyed in small batches, so the colours will vary per skein. As well, I have tried to match the colours in the photos to the actual skeins!
