THE STUDIO

All yarn is dyed in house, literally. I work in a tiny home studio in a pet friendly home. Pets are forbidden from my dye studio and being close to the yarn.

THE YARN

The nature of hand dyed yarn is that it's unique. Every skein, even if they come from the same dye lot will have unique qualities.

WASHING

All yarn is thoroughly rinsed and washed before it is sent out. Please be aware that the first couple of times you handwash a finished garment there may be some bleeding. Pinks and reds definitely tend to bleed the most during the rinse cycle. If you wash and block your finished items, trying using cold water so that the fibres pores don't open.

PAYMENT

Payment of your order must be paid in full before we ship your item(s). 

I accept PayPal, credit cards and Apple pay as payment for all items. 

Upon placing your order you will receive a email notification confirming it has gone through. I do not send paper invoices/receipts as you will receive an electronic copy and I strive to reduce waste. I will also always have a copy of your order/receipt if you need it emailed again.

SHIPPING

All items are shipped standard Priority Mail with Canada post (within Canada) and Tracked US Air and Tracked International Air.*  I promise to get things out as quick as I can and I ship packages weekly - it's always exciting waiting for packages to arrive in the mail. Please keep in mind that I am one person behind this business and while I try my absolute hardest to get things out on time, sometimes things can be delayed due to life, but very rarely!

* All packages ship tracked as of 2020 and the beginning of the pandemic. The mail system has become a huge mess with everything over the last two years and to ensure that you and I can both keep track of where your parcel is, I no longer send parcels untracked.

Please ensure that all information is filled in correctly - I ship to the address provided on your order. 

FOB - O:
The purchaser pays the shipping cost from the factory or warehouse and gains ownership of the goods as soon as it leaves its point of origin. Once the package(s) has shipped I am no longer legally responsible for lost or damaged shipments. If you should experience either of the previously mentioned please contact your postal service to file a claim before contacting me.


After receipt by Canada Post, I cannot assume any responsibility for any lost or stolen packages. 

I ship internationally. However, I am not responsible for any customs fees you may have to pay if you are outside Canada, to release your item from customs. We have zero control over customs fees. This price can range due to the region you live in. Shipping fees are non-refundable should the package be refused for any reason.

REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS AND EXCHANGES

If you have a problem with your order, please, please contact me. I put my heart into every skein and every package I send.  Your happiness is important to me!

RETURNS:

We will only accept returns on items that are still in the original mailing package. This is so I can ensure that the product is the same condition as it was when it left my hands. If you have opened your package it is not returnable.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS:

Full refunds will be issued if you choose to cancel your order before it has shipped. If the item has shipped and you wish to return it, it must still be sealed in original packaging (mailer included). I have full control of my environment, but nothing outside of the house. For this reason if you have opened your package, the yarn is yours and can not be returned.

There are no refunds on shipping as this is an expense that neither of us can get back if you decide you do not want your yarn.

If you are returning your yarn, shipping is at your expense. 

EXCHANGES:

Exchanges are not available at this time.
