Fly Away Home Mini Skein Calendar
Introducing this year’s Mini Skein Calendar inspired by one of my most beloved childhood films.
If you were a child of the 90’s you may remember this heart warming Canadian film about a young girl whose life is turned upside down after a tragic accident. She moves home to Canada with her eccentric inventor dad. While she’s trying to settle into a new place she finds an abandoned nest of goose eggs. Her and her dad raise them and try to find away to help lead them south for the winter.
Inspired by the true story of Canadian inventor Bill Lishman, who in 1993 helped lead a flock of geese from Ontario, Canada to Virginia, USA in an ultralight aircraft he made himself.
The Mini Skein calendar will feature 12 mini skeins. This is a tonal/semi solid collection of colourways.
** There will also be an option to additionally order FULL skeins in a complimentary colour that will work with the mini skeins.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
The advent/calendar/special yarn box (it can be whatever you want it to be!) will feature 12 Mini skeins. This year is all about the yarn, there will be no extra items included to help keep costs down.
